Two things are non-negotiable
Alberta and the City of Calgary decide this one, not us. Without both of these we are not able to put you behind the wheel, so please only apply if you hold them or are in process.
Alberta Class 4
A valid Class 4 operator's licence. Class 1 or Class 2 also qualifies. A Class 5 on its own does not, no matter how clean the record is.
City of Calgary TDL
The Vehicle-for-Hire driver's licence, current and in your name. It is what lets you legally carry paying passengers in Calgary.
What the work actually looks like
This is a chauffeur job, not rideshare. Our clients are executives, wedding parties and travel partners who booked us by name, and the standard of service reflects that. You drive our vehicles. You never use your own.
- YYC airport transfers, meet and greet at arrivals, luggage, flight timing.
- Corporate and executive accounts, weddings, charters and roadshows.
- Mountain runs to Banff, Canmore, Lake Louise and Jasper.
- Vehicle clean inside and out, business attire, early every trip.
- Trip sheets, mileage and fuel kept straight in the driver app.
The checklist
Alberta Class 4 licence
Class 1 or Class 2 also qualifies. Class 5 does not.
City of Calgary TDL
The Vehicle-for-Hire driver's licence. Current, in your name.
Clean five year abstract
Commercial driver's abstract. We will ask to see it.
Criminal record check
Standard for anyone carrying our clients.
Helpful but not required: previous limousine, black car or corporate shuttle experience, knowledge of YYC arrivals and the Banff corridor, air brakes, a second language.
