Booking & Reservations

How do I book a limousine with Lux Limo Service?
You can book online through our website 24/7, call us at (877) 748-0138, or email info@luxlimoservice.ca. Online booking closes 24 hours prior to service; phone bookings are accepted up to 4 hours before, subject to availability.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking at least 24-48 hours in advance for standard services. For weddings, proms, and special events, we suggest booking 2-4 weeks ahead, especially during peak season (May-September). Last-minute bookings are accommodated when possible.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made 7+ days in advance receive a 90% refund. Cancellations 48 hours to 6 days before service receive a 70% refund. Less than 24 hours notice results in a 50% refund. No-shows forfeit the full payment. Rescheduling is treated as a cancellation plus new booking unless approved by management.
Can I modify my booking after it is confirmed?
Yes, you can modify your booking by contacting us at least 24 hours before your scheduled pickup. Changes to pickup time, location, or passenger count can usually be accommodated. Significant changes may require rebooking.
Do you require a deposit?
Full payment is required at the time of booking for most services. For weddings and large events, we may require a deposit with the balance due before the event date. A valid credit card on file is required for all out-of-town trips.

Pricing & Payment

What is included in your quoted price?
Our quoted rates include the professional chauffeur, vehicle, fuel, basic vehicle preparation, and standard insurance. Gratuity is not included but is appreciated for exceptional service (typically 15-20%).
Are there any additional fees I should know about?
Yes, 5% GST is added to all bookings. Overtime is charged in 15-minute increments at 125% of the hourly rate after a 5-minute grace period. Tolls and parking fees are passed through with a 10% administration fee. A cleaning fee (minimum $250) applies for biohazard incidents.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, corporate direct deposit, and e-Transfer. Cash payments are accepted in-vehicle for same-day bookings only.
Is gratuity included in the price?
No, gratuity is not included in our quoted prices. Tips are appreciated for excellent service. The industry standard is 15-20% of the trip cost, but the amount is entirely at your discretion.
Do you offer corporate accounts or volume discounts?

Do you track flight arrivals?
Yes, we monitor all flights in real-time. If your flight is delayed or arrives early, we adjust accordingly at no extra charge. There is no need to notify us of flight changes - we track it automatically.
Where will my driver meet me at the airport?
For Calgary Airport (YYC), your chauffeur will meet you in the arrivals area holding a sign with your name. We will send you the exact meeting point details via text message before your arrival.
How much does a transfer from Calgary Airport to Banff cost?
Private limo transfers from Calgary Airport to Banff start at $279 for a sedan and $350+ for an SUV. This is for the entire vehicle, not per person, making it excellent value for groups. The drive takes approximately 1.5-2 hours.
What if my flight is delayed?
We provide a 45-minute grace period from your scheduled pickup time at no additional charge. Beyond that, wait time is charged at $85/hour. For delays known more than 12 hours in advance, please notify us to reschedule at no extra cost.
Can you accommodate large groups or multiple pickups?
Absolutely. We have SUVs accommodating up to 6 passengers and party buses for up to 14. For larger groups, we can arrange multiple vehicles. We can also coordinate multiple airport pickups for wedding parties or corporate groups.

Wedding Services

What wedding transportation packages do you offer?
We offer bridal party packages (bride/groom + wedding party transportation), guest shuttle services (hotel to venue), and getaway car service. All packages include decorated vehicles, complimentary champagne, red carpet service, and coordination with your photographer.
Can you decorate the vehicle for our wedding?
Yes, we provide complimentary vehicle decoration including ribbons and floral arrangements that match your wedding colors. Just let us know your color scheme when booking. Additional custom decorations can be arranged upon request.
Do you provide champagne for weddings?
Yes, complimentary champagne is included with our wedding packages for the bride and groom. Our vehicles hold valid AGLC Liquor-Licence-Vehicle-for-Hire endorsements. All passengers consuming alcohol must be 18+ and provide valid ID.
How early should we book for our wedding?
We recommend booking 2-4 months in advance for weddings, especially during peak season (May-September). Popular dates like long weekends can book up 6+ months ahead. A deposit secures your date.
Can you transport guests from multiple hotels?

Do you provide transportation for conferences and events?

Are your vehicles suitable for business meetings on the go?
Yes, our SUVs and sedans offer quiet, comfortable environments suitable for mobile meetings. Vehicles feature privacy partitions, climate control, and phone charging capabilities. WiFi can be arranged upon request.
Can you invoice our company directly?
Yes, approved corporate accounts receive direct invoicing with net-30 payment terms. We provide detailed invoices with trip information, passenger names, and cost breakdowns for easy expense reporting.

Vehicles & Fleet

What types of vehicles do you have?
Our fleet includes luxury sedans, Cadillac Escalade ESV SUVs (6 passengers), stretch limousines (up to 8 passengers), and party buses (up to 14 passengers). All vehicles are late-model, meticulously maintained, and fully insured.
How many passengers can your vehicles accommodate?
Sedans accommodate 3 passengers comfortably. Cadillac Escalade ESV SUVs fit up to 6 passengers with luggage. Stretch limousines hold 8-10 passengers. Party buses accommodate 12-14 passengers. We never exceed manufacturer seating ratings.
Are child car seats available?
We can accommodate child car seats, but clients must provide their own CSA-approved seats. Our chauffeurs can assist with installation but are not responsible for installation errors. Please let us know when booking if you need a car seat.
Is there room for luggage and ski equipment?
Yes, our SUVs have ample cargo space for luggage and ski/snowboard equipment. For airport transfers to Banff or the ski resorts, we recommend the Escalade ESV which easily fits 4-6 passengers with full ski gear and luggage.
Are your vehicles smoke-free?
Yes, all vehicles are 100% smoke-free, including tobacco, cannabis, and e-cigarettes/vaping. This ensures a fresh, clean environment for all passengers.

What areas do you serve?
We serve Calgary and surrounding areas including Banff, Canmore, Lake Louise, Kananaskis, Cochrane, Airdrie, Okotoks, and Edmonton. We also provide long-distance transfers to Jasper, Waterton, and throughout Alberta.
Do you offer service to Banff and the Rocky Mountains?
Yes, Banff and the Rocky Mountains are our specialty. We offer daily transfers from Calgary Airport to Banff, Canmore, Lake Louise, and the ski resorts. Our drivers know the mountain roads well and drive safely in all weather conditions.
Can you drive to Edmonton?
Yes, we provide Calgary to Edmonton transfers (approximately 3 hours). This is popular for business travelers, special events, and connections through Edmonton International Airport.
Do you service Jasper National Park?
Yes, we offer transfers to Jasper from Calgary (approximately 4.5 hours) and from Edmonton (approximately 4 hours). This scenic route through the Rockies is available year-round, weather permitting.
Can you make stops along the way to my destination?
Yes, one advantage of private transfer is flexibility. We can make photo stops at scenic viewpoints, stop for coffee or meals, or visit attractions along the route. Just let your chauffeur know, or request stops when booking.

Policies & Safety

Are your chauffeurs professionally trained?
Yes, all chauffeurs are professionally trained, licensed, and background-checked. They have extensive knowledge of Calgary and Alberta roads, maintain impeccable driving records, and provide courteous, professional service.
Is alcohol allowed in your vehicles?
Yes, where our vehicles hold valid AGLC Liquor-Licence-Vehicle-for-Hire endorsements. All passengers consuming alcohol must be 18+ and provide valid ID on request. Cannabis consumption is prohibited while the vehicle is in motion.
What happens in case of severe weather?
Safety is our priority. In severe weather (blizzards, freezing rain), we may refuse service, reschedule, or alter routes. We will communicate any changes as early as possible. Force majeure events may affect refund policies.
Are your vehicles insured?
Yes, all vehicles carry commercial automobile insurance with minimum $2 million liability coverage and accident benefits as mandated by Alberta insurance regulations.
Do you have cameras in your vehicles?
Some vehicles are equipped with interior video recording for driver and passenger safety. Signage is posted as required by Calgary bylaws. If you prefer not to be recorded, please notify us at booking and we will accommodate where possible.

Yes, we accept last-minute bookings based on availability. Phone bookings are accepted up to 4 hours before your pickup time by calling (877) 748-0138. Online bookings close 24 hours before the trip. For the best selection of vehicles and guaranteed availability, we recommend booking at least 24 to 48 hours in advance.
How early should I be ready for my airport pickup?
For departures from your home or hotel to the airport, your chauffeur will arrive at the scheduled time. We recommend scheduling your pickup at least 2.5 hours before a domestic flight and 3 hours before an international flight. For airport arrivals, we track your flight in real time and meet you in the arrivals area, so there is no need to rush.
What is included in the limo rental price?
Our quoted price includes the professional chauffeur, the vehicle, fuel, and standard insurance. Bottled water is provided in all vehicles. Gratuity is not included but is appreciated at 15 to 20 percent for excellent service. GST of 5 percent is added to all bookings. There are no hidden fees or surge pricing.
Do you offer child car seats in your limos?
We can accommodate child car seats, but you need to bring your own CSA-approved seat. Our chauffeur can help with installation. Please let us know when booking so we can ensure the right vehicle is assigned. Booster seats for older children can also be accommodated.
Can I bring luggage in the limousine?
Yes. Our sedans fit 2 to 3 large suitcases plus carry-on bags. The Cadillac Escalade ESV has room for 4 to 6 large suitcases plus ski or snowboard equipment. If you have extra luggage or oversized items, let us know when booking and we will assign the right vehicle.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
We track all flights in real time and automatically adjust your pickup. There is no need to call us if your flight is late. We include a 45-minute complimentary wait time from your scheduled arrival. Beyond that, wait time is $85 per hour. For delays known more than 12 hours in advance, call us to reschedule at no cost.
Do you offer round-trip discounts?
Yes, booking a round trip is often more cost-effective than two separate one-way bookings. Contact us for a custom round-trip quote. Corporate accounts and frequent travelers may also qualify for volume discounts on recurring trips.

Are your drivers familiar with winter road conditions to Banff?
